Administrative Support

Job Title: Administrative Support, Full Time
Reports to: Branch Manager
Location: 4125 E. Kirk Rd. Suite 5 Port Clinton, OH
The primary purpose and function of this position is to provide administrative support to the service and sales department personnel for both Port Clinton and Toledo locations. This position will require communication with customers & other personnel within the company. This position will work Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM at the Port Clinton location and requires someone who is a team player, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and has the ability to work independently.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:
Efficiently and professionally answer phone calls and emails, taking messages, and returning phone calls, as appropriate to provide exceptional customer service
Enter incident and opportunity incident work tickets and dispatch technicians as needed
Process orders, forms, and reports as needed
Seek resolution and follow up on customer complaints and requests
Enter and update customer account information
Prepare quote packages for presentation to customer
Educate customers on ABCO's products and services
Qualify and process walk-in customer orders
Perform general office duties and projects as assigned
Skills and Specifications
3 years' experience in a professional, technical environment providing clerical and administrative support is preferred by not required
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral required
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required
The ability to take directions, work on multiple assignments, and work independently taking pride and ownership of work is required
Must be extremely detail oriented
Ability to effectively interact with staff in a professional manner
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with a strong focus on Excel and Word required
The ability and desire to work in a technical environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
