This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, case management, and appellate work.
Prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Prepare witness lists and schedules.
Coordinate with trial attorneys on depositions, hearings, and other related matters.
Prepare witness lists and documents for court appearances.
Prepare legal research and case management documents.
Manage attorney calendars to ensure that deadlines are met.
Maintain client files in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
Assist with other tasks as assigned by the managing attorney or senior staff.
Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of related paralegal experience required; more preferred.
Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail required; ability to perform specialized tasks such as preparing motions and briefs in a timely manner required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required; ability to conduct legal research and document production required; ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
