Your primary duties will include scheduling appointments for the children, providing transportation as needed, engaging the children in the therapeutic process, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Understanding trauma and actively participating in the healing process is essential in this role.
Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the group home and will need to commit to full-time employment without outside employment.
Requirements:
Minimum age of 21 years Successful completion of BCI/FBI background check Possession of a valid driver's license No record of any convictions Reside in or relocate to Sandusky, OH Ability to live in one of our homes or willingness to work towards licensing your own home Possession of a high school diploma or GED Preferred:
Bachelor's degree or higher Previous experience as a foster parent or house parent Certifications:
Obtain Level 2 trauma certificate and CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire through the Red Cross Work Schedule:
This position requires 24-hour home supervision, with a schedule of 9 days on and 3 days off.
